The New Testament has many references to being saved. Here are a few:
- Stand firm to the end and you will be saved (Mt. 10:22, Mt. 24:13, Mk. 13:13)
- Impossible for man to save himself, only God can save (Mt. 19:24-26, Mk. 10:25-27)
- Those who believe and are baptized will be saved (Mk. 16:16)
- Faith in Jesus will save you (Lk. 7:50)
- Prevented by the evil one (Lk. 8:12)
- Only a few will live for Jesus and be saved (Lk. 13:22-24)
- Jesus is the gate or way to being saved (Jn. 10:8-10)
- Only available through Jesus (Acts 4:12)
- It is a gift, received through faith; cannot be obtained through good deeds (Eph. 2:8)
