What has been the result to humans that have been in the presence of the God?

Here are several individuals that have been in the presence of God. Let's see what the outcome was.

Adam

In Genesis 3, we see God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. There was a close relationship between God and man, in which God was actually present with man. Abraham

In Genesis 17, God appeared to Abraham. Abraham fell facedown, and God established his covenant with Abraham. Here God evoked a holy fear in Abraham, but there appear to be no negative consequences. Moses

Isaiah

Isaiah saw a vision of God in the temple. He fell to the ground exclaiming that he was a man of unclean lips. Kind of an odd exclamation. Why the lips? This passage can be found in Isaiah chapter 6.

Paul the Apostle

Saul, also called Paul, was on the road to Damascus, when he had an encounter with God. A light flashed around him, and the voice of Jesus said, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" (Acts 9:3-4). The outward result of Paul's encounter with God was blindness, but the inward result was a transformed life. He went from being a persecutor of Christians to being one of the greatest Christian missionaries.
