There isn't a name, but this "angel" probably refers to Jesus. God was trying to bless him (grace) but Jacob was still struggling (through his self-efforts and flesh), so God had no choice but to wrench Jacob's hip to render him powerless, before blessing him. Jacob probably had to use a walking stick made of wood for the rest of his life... a picture of depending on the Cross!
